Everything's going normal for Zack, a thirty-year-old video game geek until his town gets absorbed by a giant ball of melted faces. Each face is a victim trapped in a system of worlds born from the nostalgic memories they have in common. Zack starts out in the world library, a place from which all the other worlds can be entered through books called gates. Zack meets all kinds of unlikely friends and foes from such memorable stories as; "Final Fantasy," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Megaman," "X-Men," "Dragonball Z," "The Simpsons," Looney Toons," "Batman," "Star Wars," and other famous television shows, games, and movies. Some of the main villains are Kefka, Krang, Sigma, Apocalypse, Freiza, Montgomery Burns, Joker, and Darth Vader. The ring leader of the villains is Unfamiliar and his three bodyguards are Bahamut, Sephiroth, and Vampire Hunter D. The three main people on Zack's side are Setzer and Cyan, both from "Final Fantasy 6" or 3 as it was released America. Other characters that substitute for them at various points in the game are Celes, Leonardo, Megaman, Cyclops, Vegetta, Homer, Bugs Bunny, Batman, and Luke Skywalker. When you start out the world library only has three gates. After you visit all three of them and defeat their villains three more gates appear. There will also be a handful of familiar characters hanging around the library as well as an item fusion shop and additional mini games. The library contains a puzzle that has to be solved in order to reach the Book of the Unfamiliar, the final gate. Various pieces of the puzzle are scattered throughout the worlds and it's up to you to bring them all together so that you can confront the Unfamiliar. The gameplay is one-player action RPG. You run, jump, dive-roll, attack, cast spells, and use items. The CPU controlls your two allies. Some of the action features are grapple, human shield, catch-break, and overdrive. Grapple is a close range command against human foes. You can disarm them with cinematic akido techniques then break their necks or shoot them with their own guns. Pressing a different button when close to an enemy lets you use that enemy for a human shield. When you throw away a human shield the action pauses so you can choose which ally to throw the enemy to. That ally will catch the enemy in mid air, come down, and break the enemy's spine over his or her knee. The use of magic and items will remain pretty much true to the typical action RPG format. That concludes this game idea.
