Westwoods’s game art & design program will teach you everything you will need to know before you apply for a job in the game industry.
Mordhiem is an Fps game in an Action/Adventure/Rpg hybrid set in the ruined city of Mordhiem.
The player will start by generating the character i.e. Race/Gender/Name/Age/Allegiance and so on. The races will be all those in the world of Warhammer i.e. Humans/Elves/Dwarfs/Skaven/Orcs/Goblins/Undead and so on. The way it will be played is a server will run 24/7 allowing constant playing with night and day and weather like rain/snow and so on. The server will also generate the whole city (all the buildings) the sewers, The Pit and the pit fighting arenas outside the city.
The game will be so realistic that buildings can be rebuilt or destroyed leaving it up to the players how the city is managed. The player will also be able to have a warband clan i.e. a Witch hunter band and so on each warband will chose a cave/building/sewer to be their base so next time they join they will spawn there. Where as single non-clan member will spawn in the nearest inn to where they exited or died. Players will also be able to run pubs/inns/blacksmiths or assassins services with their character. There will be computer-generated enemies like Dragons/Trolls and such. When a player dies any other player can come and steal anything that was in his inventory except the weapon, full armour and shield that was in the dead players ‘bound to’ area. The only other way to keep things safe if your pack is too heavy is too put it in your Clan box situated in your HQ (only clans have these not single characters) this means all your team can but things in your special sections or the share/trade section the spells on the box only allow you and your clan in yet your HQ can still be destroyed and you will have to rebuild it.
The player can also quests off Npc’s like to kill a Dragon and the reward could be money/skill points/items and the like. The Rpg elements will be gaining Exp to go up levels to increase your Strength…. etc learning new skills or increasing old ones/ better spells so you could learn stealth and cut-throat to be a true assassin.
The items would be weapons/armour (boots/gloves/shoulder pads and the like)/gems/money and other such things. The weapons etc will range from normal ones given the names- crude/old/poor/average/fair/good/excellent/perfect and then some will have bonuses like +1 to attack rating and the like then others will have magic impound in them like a fair long sword of flame (adds fire damage and could set alight enemies) or a gauntlet of power +2 to strength. Armour will also have this but will have a lesser power that will range from an extra +1 to +5 armour rating. Players will start of with a poor dagger and average leather armour. All weapons and armour and shields will get worse as you use them so they will need repairing.
The controls would be a simple mix off a three-button mouse and keyboard making it simple.

Yes finally some one with a great idea. I personally love Mordheim and would like to see it in a PC version. Generating Hechman and Youngins would be cool as heck. Choosing what race you are and make it like a FPS would be great also..
