Gameplay: As I said, it's virtual reality. There are lightning quick crossovers, stylish "through the leg" dribbles, and rad behind the back ball handling. Also, spin moves are another big factor when handling the ball. There are also sweet fade away jumpers, awesome turn arounds, and powerful lean ins. And don't forget those no look passes! Now let's get to dunking. Ohhhhhh. There are so many dunks including 360's, two hand throwdowns, windmills, jumping from the free throw line jammin' (Michael Jordan style!), wild over the head slams, through the legs and up jams, and more! Setting picks is another important part of the gameplay. The monster picks can really get your offense "percolating." Hand that one to Walt Clyde Frazier! Now let's see some defense! The blocking is just fantastic. Being sent back in this game seems like the ball got sent to Mars! Also, stealing and swiping is sweeter than a candy cane. You can even put your hands up, and sacrifice your body to take a charge! Rebounding is cool too, where you can also box out and fight for that board! That's basically the gameplay. Now let's proceed to more stuff included in the game!
Music: There are many songs, including awesome releases from Dry Cell, Hot Karl, Fat Joe, Seether, Good Charlotte, GOB, and more!
Rosters: The rosters are updated from the 2003 NBA season, with each and every player included. They are also all equipped with player ratings which pends the players skills and decides what he can do with the ball. Here you can also create teams and players, and edit existing teams and players to your style! How would you like to be the general manager of every NBA team? Well, here's your chance to do that!
Options: The options are for gameplay, display, and sound. Gameplay options have to do with how hard the game is and the rules. Display all has to do with camera views, and sound is how loud the music and sound effects are, and you can also select the song that you want to hear!
Modes: The modes are spectacular, including the career mode, where you can take a team through a long franchise, managing your team, and trying to win as many NBA titles as possible. Beginners should begin with Exhibition mode, which is where you just pick two teams to play, pick what team you want to be, and you're headed for the court! There's also street ball, and practice modes. And of course, you have the regular season and the playoffs.
