Your are an independent scientist, proving your own theories in your own way. Others think you are insane, thinking of your theories as a mental illness. Driven out of the civilized human world, you hangs on the brink of insanity, then the unexplained happened. You met your theoretical subjects, all of them. They were denied to be the truth, now you face them yourself. You became a hunter, fighting for own survival in the urban ruins which were once home to the human species. The haunting continued, the hunting did too……
The ‘theories’ are about the existence of a race of ‘after phantoms’ (AP) stalking the world of the humans, hidden from all senses. Your world have been conquered by them, the world leaves you behind, you had to the revive it. Your world is not to be lost…
The game is about you as a hunter to hunt the AP down, researching a cure for the world’s plague. The game starts with you in your apartment, you walk out to the streets and sees a mutilated body on the opposite side of the lane, then a dog appears from the darkness of a hole in an abandoned apartment and starts barking loudly as it backs from the hole. Then it too, frags suddenly, as if hit by a car. Then two men in black breaks open the planks covering the door way an walks out and face you. Then rushes towards you and you quickly frag them with your shotgun. The game continues with you walking along the streets and exploring the ruins. The rest of the story should be develop by who ever is developing this game.
Game play: Diablo-style view, with fast and mysterious action. The game features gun action and advance movements like side steps, rolling, ducking, dashing and life saving jumping skills. The AP powers are some sort of ‘psychic’, you may encounter situations when you are in an alley and suddenly an AP steps in and you go ‘Oh my God!’ , such situations requires skilled players to act fast or else in 5 seconds, you’ll be dead as the dog. Dogs would occasionally appear as a warning. The thrill does not focus on great amount of APs but mysterious and sudden appearance that scare you out of your seat. Sometimes it’s their turn to say ‘Oh my God!’ and yours to say ‘Bye…’ .
You can choose from an armory of unique weapons to frag them with, even Uzis and other rapid fire weapons to pound them hard and fast.
Edited: When you die, you get to start back at your apartment, just like what NIce said, get your weapons and continue, but enemies will not reappear. The inventory should give you:
10 unit space for guns:
Pistols 2units
Shotguns 3units
SMGs 3units
Launchers 5units
4 unit space for melees:
Knifes 2units
Combat Sabers 3units
Hammers 3units
Scythe and Staff-likes 4units
5 unit space for belt items:
Grenade 2units
Hypo and others 1unit
5 unit space for clips:
SMGs(40rounds) 1 or 2units
Pistol(8rounds) 1unit
Sniper(2shots) 2units
6 unit space for shells
Shotgun(4shots) 1unit
BombShell 1unit
6 unit space for capsules or darts:
Grenade Capsules 1unit
Heavy shots(Cannons) 1unit
Flaks 2unit
The above settings should be enough to store good weapons and their ammo.
You should blast away the APs with a few heavy shots or a flak and finish the rest with a few clean shots from your pistols or SMGs as you dodge their psychics. Making the crates and other things blast behind you as you run around would add some real intensity to the game-play.
