I have finally obtained Yoshi YAY! He is sitting atop a roof in the town LOL.

By: ZeroTolerance Oh man 36 hours and counting this game is like a drug addiction, prepare for a life as a junkie!
Time ticks slowly in the realm of gaming doesn't it? August 26th seems so ever far away and here we are talking about how great this game is. Tonight I bring you the tale of the 36th hour of game play and I must say it only gets better as it progresses. The game continues to open up new dimensions yet to be seen in the realm of paltform gaming. Things I have yet to see and challenges I have yet to stumble upon continue to flourish my screen like presents under a tree on Christmas morning. The sweet visuals of Italian plumbers flourish my dreams and after three days I keep coming back for more!
My count up to date is now 27 shines and 30 blue coins. I am taking a break with the blue coins right now as shines are coming to me like mad. I obtained 12 in one sitting last night, I have completed all 7 stories on three of the unlocked boards and am going back soon to collect the 100 coins shine when I am not exploring the vast overworld. I have finally obtained Yoshi YAY! He is sitting atop a roof in the town LOL. That is where I caught him in the chase. I have to carry a banana to him everytime I want a ride, I have mostly just played around with his use as I have yet to find anything particular to do with him.
One thing to remember is that Yoshi hates water so do not take him for a swim LOL. Another cool thing I have run into are the different water pack add-ons. I obtained the rocket launcher in the next to last story in Bainco Hills and the jet pack one in the overworld after chasing down my nemesis. The uses are unknown to me yet, although I did obtain one overworld shine with the jetpack YAY! The frustration from the earlier shines dissopated once I sat and got some more quality time, I have been going through shines like nobody's business. I have had a few speed bumps, mostly the retro levels I talked about earlier on. Some of those are freakin' hard!
There really isn't much else to say at this point other than this is one of the games you should buy soon LOL. This is going to please so many gamers out there and bring back the Mario fans from the past. Nintendo is serving up another winner and this time he means business. I am off to play some more and hopefully I will be able to review it by this week's end. Tonight I leave you with the theme from SMW humming in my head!
