Dear new and old visitors,
Many of you have been waiting for months now to submit your game ideas,
and some of you have probably been wondering if the new site is ever
going to be launched. Yes it will, and yes it's going to be way cooler
than you ever have imagined. Making a medium-quality game site can
be done in a month, but making a high-quality game site takes a lot
of hard work and sometimes, like in this case, a very long time. I
can tell you that the main design of the new site is ready and looking
good. The hardest part with making the new Game Discovery site is
the automatic game idea submission system and the game idea search
engine, which will finally make the site user-friendly for all the
game designers out there. This is probably the last update you will
see before the big launch later this year, and hopefully we will see
you all again when that happen. Thank you all for showing such great
interest in our work and website. See you soon!!!
Cheers,

DuelField
|
So the game is finally
out. Lots of players are already constantly on it, and seem to really
enjoy it. Duelfield Disciple has been tested for the last couple of
months and the offcial version has now been released. This strategy
game allows you to embody a Deity (Earth, Air, Water, Fire...) that
controls characters (Goblins, Guards, Zephyr, Hulks...). By using
very different powers and Magical effects called Alters, you will
engage in a duel against a chosen opponent (anyone connected to the
server) whom you will try to defeat through a simultaneous turn-based
game system. We suggest you go try it at www.duelfield.net

Demo
|
Daz and his team are nearing completion of a fully playable demo of
Fur Effect, just take a look at the screenshot which is taken from
the demo. A picture of the Teddy soldier that we mentioned last week
has been added under 3D models, we'll have the actual 3D model available
for download as soon as Daz sends over the files.

Problem solved
|
Our email should now
be back up, so if you want to contact us you can start using our old
email addresses again.
Daz has sent us a 3D model of a teddy soldier, based on Tranz's teddy
soldier sketch. We'll try to have that placed in the 3D gallery a.s.a.p.
We are also waiting for Daz to send over a playable demo on the Fur
Effect engine showing off the new weapon system and the enemy's AI.
The new Game Discovery site is slowly taking shape, but we have been
having some difficulties, so things are not moving forward with lighting
speed at the moment. So be patient, the new site will be online someday,
and we will be working hard to make that happen as soon as possible.

New Fur Effect screenshot

A few days ago CDSOFTWARE informed us about some changes in the game.
They are now using both DarkBasic and the new A5 engine for the game.
The two game engines will be used for different parts of the game,
resulting in more varied gameplay. Just check out this new screenshot
of a TEAM-EXTREME member diving out of a MiG! We will have more information
about TEAM-EXTREME in the near future
